Yatta!!!1

Hey, it’s the Andy-San here with some good news!

After what seemed like forever, I FINALLY got a checking account!!!1 It’ll take about a month and a half to fully set up, but it’s gonna be worth it. I’ve cleared a very big step in getting my own site. Now all that’s left is to wait for the account to be fully functional, pay for my site (I’m thinking about going through DreamHost), move everything over to my domain, redirect my traffic, set up AdSense as well as a Donation button, and generally tweek the site. www.theandysan.com will be coming very soon!! As I’ve said before, I’ll be keeping you guys informed on the site’s progress and when I’ll be able to move to it permanently.

After properly counting up my money, I now have $229 saved up for my new computer (that’s 28.6%). Only $571 to go!! I dunno if I’ll need to delve into that to pay for my site, but it seems very likely.

In other news, the music store has some new stuff that’s kinda interesting. They have a green Jackson Soloist for $299 and a Marshall Valvestate 1×12 combo for $299 as well. The Jackson wasn’t too shabby. It was incredibly light and although I don’t like super-low action, the Jackson felt good to play. The low-E was buzzin’ like a mother though and I don’t really like the Single coil-Single coil-Humbucker configuration, but for what it was, it was okay.  The Marshall combo was decent as well. The switching was very confusing and when I found the channel switch to distortion, it was effin’ loud!! The gain knob tapered well, but it still had that solid-state static distortion sound. I do have to give it up for Marshall though; they made the most natural-sounding solid state amp I’ve yet to hear. You definitely know it’s a Marshall when you start digging in. It also has a very tight noise-gate, so there’s also very minute sustain (that’s the trade-off for quiet operation I guess). I’m giving the Marshall the benefit-of-the-doubt because it is currently being worked on (the reverb tank is being fixed), but it really could have handled certain things like open-strings better.

Oh, and I forgot to mention in one of my posts that Travis bought a 70’s Carvin from the music store that he’s gonna spraypaint (I ran into him when he was gonna pay for it) and add EMGs to it. Now, I like the EMG sound, but I don’t want every one of my guitars to have EMGs on them. I thought Travis would get a little more creative and put in a different set of pickups like say a Burstbucker Pro and a ‘57 Classic Plus. That’s just me, I guess.

Well, I’m gonna go for now. Catch ya later!

Andy-San

P.S: I have currently 2,429 daily views!! Cool!! My goal is 3,500 daily views.

Liek ZOMG, j00 Killed St00f!!!1

It happens. Sup, it’s the Andy-San here after a kinda quick shift at Wal-Mart.

It was sooo agonizing waking up at 5:50am today. Working was about as bad. I now completely agree with my bro about the different kinda of tired. I was sleepy-tired and then after trying a new flavor of Mountain Dew called SuperNova, I became slap-happy for the rest of the day.

I was leaning beside my register and one of the door greeters, whose name I forget (I’m kinda bad with names if you guys haven’t caught onto that yet lol), said that I shouldn’t lean in front of my register because the store manager and the district manager were walking within eyesight of my area. She said I should clean around my area or do something since they don’t like it when cashiers are lazy. This was before I had the Dew of Awesome so I was really dragging ass. When I went to clock out for lunch, I walked past Chris, the store manager, and said hi. He responded in kind and I gathered from his body language that he didn’t notice my leaning earlier or didn’t remember so I felt good. After I got my check cashed today, I get stopped by the same door greeter. She tells me what she told me earlier, but instead of suggesting that I do something instead of lean on my register like she did before, she tells me. Now, I hate to be told what to do. I’m not a fucking dog, you cunt bucket!! Dammit, if I could remember names better, I’d use the Open Door Policy so fast it would fly off the hinges!! Besides, the door greeters are some of the laziest people I’ve ever seen. EvAr! They sit down in the motorized carts most of the time and they checks carts when the alarm goes off. They do other stuff, but that’s about the gist of their job. So basically, it’s like getting dieting tips from a fat guy. “You see, what you gotta do is-” “Not listen to you fatter ass!”

I’ve made some changes to this blog. I’ve decided to nix the Answer the 60-Cycle Bum and My Stories pages. I thought that pages were like another mini-blog instead of just one big post. I’ll probably use them for my YouTube vids when I finally get a camera.

Well, I’m gonna go take a nappy so I’ll see you little cremepuffs on the flip-side. Laterz!

Andy-San

P.S: I have 2,792 daily views so far today! Sw33tness!!!1 Oh, and I’ll be getting that checking account tomorrow so I can finally put into motion my own site as well as AdSense and a Donation button! At least, if ChexSmart has cleared my now-good name… Stay tuned!!

Here’s An Update

It’s right here. Hey guys, it’s the Andy-San hurr with, you guessed it, an update.

I’ve updated my History page a bit so you can check that out if you want.

In other news, Ben’s band changed their name yet again to Eights On Aces. I wonder how long this name will stick lol? Until they play another show again and it’s recorded, I won’t change the tags and st00f on their other video. They’ve been working on some new stuff and I can’t wait to hear them play again! Let’s just hope that Ben won’t bust a string without a spare again lol.

Well, that’s it for me today. I’ve got to get to bed since I have work wayyy early in the morning (like 7am early). Nighty-night!

Andy-San

P.S: I noticed that I only got 7 views yesterday. I feel sad…

There’s A Dick On My Truck, Isn’t There?

Hello, it’s the Andy-San here with a sore shoulder.

I had what seemed like a quick shift today. It was getting near the end of my shift and I was gonna leave a bit early because there were no customers in sight and I was in between 2 other cashiers. One of them said that I had to wait until 5 minutes to the end of my shift to leave instead of 10 like I usually do. The managers have the cashiers do this so that they can prepare to close down their registers and take back items and recycle hangers and bags. Apparently, Wal-Mart hates it when you work past your scheduled shift; messes with the scheduling computer or something. No big deal to me since I get a good amount of hours. Anyway, this particular cashier, whose name I forget, said that it was discussed at the previous cashier’s meeting that cashiers are leaving too early and that it was up on the dry-erase board. Determined to prove her wrong, I looked at all of the dry-erase boards I could find and do you know how many had that written on them? A big goose egg! I found nothing about it on any of the dry-erase boards or on any of the cork boards or anywhere else for that matter!! So after I clocked out, I bought a new magazine by Guitar World Acoustic called Acoustic Rock. I haven’t looked at it yet, but it seems interesting. I get out to my truck, and I see that someone sprayed a dick on my door with shaving cream. Jeez… I cleaned that dick off with 2 buckets of water (wow, that didn’t sound gay at all lol).

In other news, I ran into Travis today when I was on break. He said that he’s got his newest project in motion. It has him on vocals and lead guitar, Kyle on drums, Chip on bass, and get this: Benjamin on rhythm guitar. No it’s not Ben Ben, but some other guy named Ben. And here Travis was so adamant about having only one guitarist in the band lol! But it does sound like a killer lineup and I’ll definitely check them out when they start performing live. Also, I learned part of a song that Marty Friedman does on Rock Fujiyama episode 12 called Mizuiro no Ame that was originally by Junko Yagami. Check out the clip of him playing it right here:

Here’s the clip of the original song:

It sounds awesome when played on guitar. And he mixed it with The Doobie Bros’ Long Train Runnin’. Now you know why Marty’s my all-time favorite guitarist, with Paul Gilbert coming at a very close second. Those bastards are crazy!!!1

Well, I’m gonna hit the shower since my shoulder is killing me from lifting some weights…to scan them lol! Good-Night!

Andy-San

P.S: I got 3,492 views yesterday! Awesome!! Also, I’ll be updating my History page soon!

A History…of TheAndySan

What, no redunk-ya-mama-liss exclamation points in the title?!!1 There ya go! Hey guys, it’s the Andy-San hurr with an update.

I put up some st00f in The History of TheAndySan page, so be sure to check it out! Like I said before, I’ll be constantly adding to it and reorganizing it until it’s current.

That’s about all I wanted to say for the moment so g’night!

Andy-San

P.S: My current highest daily views are 2,178 views from today.

Today’s Episode: Happy Mommy Day!!!…or…Change Is Good!!!

Good afternoon, it’s the Andy-San hurr with some news.

I’m sure some of you are a little tired of reading about my post count (liek zOMG, it’s ovAr two-hundreeeed!!1), so I’ve decided to post about something else. Something like pooping with your friends while listening to the soothing, totally original music of Crystal Castles. Not your cup of tea? Yeah, mine neither cuz I’m like Superman; I poop alone.

Anyhoo, I’ve put up some pages for my future sections of my blog. Answer The 60-Cycle Bum will be a column where I ask a guitar-related question and you my viewers answer it. Most of the time I won’t know the answer, but hey, that’s why they call me The 60-Cycle Bum.

My Stories is pretty self-explanatory. I’ll put up my manga ideas. I’ll try to get some illistrations of the manga instead of just the transcript. You see, I’m not that good at drawing manga, but I’m excellent at thinking of ideas for series that I wanna read about and eventually see realized as actual anime series. I’ll see if I can copyright register my ideas so I don’t get robbed blind lol. I also want to submit something to TOKYOPOP’s Rising Stars of Manga in the future.

The History of TheAndySan, besides being fairly self-descriptive, is more than just an About Me page. It’s where I will list my history; where I came from, where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, etc. It’s a huge undertaking, but I feel that I owe you guys some backstory. Of course, to protect my identity, I won’t give away addresses or complete names of people.

Well, I’m gonna get ready for work so I’ll see you guys later. Bye now!

Happy Mother’s Day from:

Andy-San

Damn ChexSystem!! You’re Making Me Aaaaangry!!!

Hey guys, Andy-San here with some bad news.

I went in to get my checking account today and I was denied because of my previous checking account being overdrawn. I took care of that yesterday so I thought everything would be all hunky-dory today. *bzzz* Wrawn!! Apparently, I have to wait for it to clear with ChexSystem, which is this service that sees if you have another checking account and whatnot. According to both of the banks I went to, it could take a couple days to a week. Super, man…

Well, that’s all I wanted to say for now. When I finally get my checking account and all that stuff squared away, you guys will be the first to know. Later!

Andy-San

Sittin’ Pretty at 2,132 Daily Views!!

Good evening, it’s the Andy-San here waiting in my Al Bundies (that’s my underwear. Hello ladies!!) for my laundry to get clean & dry. Even my backup pants are in there, so lameness.

I’ve received not only my highest amount of daily views at 2,132, but a lot of comments as well. If you guys have a question or a comment, please feel free to do so. Just try not to make comments like, “ur blog sux a$$!! I h0pe u diee!!”, that’s all I ask. It’s not that I can’t take criticism, far from it. It’s just annoying is all. If you think my blog sux a$$, then tell me in a constructive manner. Just remember, use your words; they’re there for a reason.

Some of you have suggested that I put up more pictures of myself among other things to, literally, illustrate what I’m talking about. I’m definitely down with putting up moAr pics of me cuz I do love me lol! However, my camera’s being a tool and not the kind that’s usable. I’ll get back to this subject here in a bit.

In one of my comments, Groverfan suggested that I do blogs or have a section of my daily blog for my personal history. I think that this is a grate idea! I need to get it organized and it’ll be up and running. Look forward to it!

Work today was boring again. They stuck me on paystation, which is the area that runs the self-checkouts. During the weekend, the whole place is packed and I’m kept busy. During the week, however, it’s dead as hell with occasional spirts of customers. You also get a lot of people who don’t know how to work the self-checkout and do stupid things. Things like trying to scan big-ass boxes, 24-packs of water, and flowers (my arch-nemesis at Wally World. Grr…).

There’s also a very large amount of people who buy certain items that require me to ID them that are not booze and/or smokes. Items like super glue, spray paint, paint balls, Headshot energy shots, diet pills, male enhancement pills (I had two incidents, both were women buying the shit and boy were they embarrassed when I carded them!!), paint thinners, Tylenol, the list just goes on! I do agree with Wal-Mart in that the abuse of these products should be handled within the best of our ability. However, I think that it’s also our responsibility to properly inform the customers that they will need to present their ID if they want to buy these products. We do it for booze and smokes so why not everything else we card for? I put that in the suggestion box and if my suggestion gets picked as the best, I get an extra $25 on my paycheck! Go me!!

I also got my mom an early Mother’s Day present: 2 boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda for the fridge and freezer. Sure it’s not jewelry or flowers or a card, but I totally thought of her when I saw them. Happy Early Mother’s Day, Mom! Due to the accident, she gets that day off so I guess the accident’s not all bad.

Well, I’m gonna put my wash in the dryer (good-night, ladies!!) so I’ll see ya when I look at ya! ‘Night!

Andy-San

P.S: Remember when I said I’ll get back to the subject of pics and vlogs? Well, I’ll be getting my Paypal account squared away later on today and I’ll put up a donation button. So if anyone would like to donate, you’re more than welcome to (liek zOMG, theandysan has become an Internets panhandler!!!1). The donation button won’t go away when I get a camera, but getting the camera via my blog would be most interesting. Most interesting indeed.

It’s OvAr Two-Thousaaaaaaaaaand!!!!1

Good afternoon, it’s the Andy-San here with a quick post.

I tried to get a checking account today, but I couldn’t because I had overdrawn my previous one when I went to college at UU. It rAEped what I’d saved up for a new computer; about $146. Ouch!! Since I took care of my previous account after noon, it won’t be officially dealt with until tomorrow. Oh yoy ‘n vundermint. So I should have my brand new checking account by tomorrow. I can’t wait!

In better news, my goal of 2,000 daily views has been broken again. As of 1:00pm EST today, I have 2,005 views…and growing!! F’n-A!! This is nothing short of amazing!! If any of you guys wanna leave a comment, feel free to. I’d love to get some feedback.

Well, I’m gonna eat some lunch so I’ll see you guys when I get off work. Bye!

Andy-San

P.S: My new daily views goal is 3,000.

Holy Crap! 1,733 Views Today?!! Awesome!!!1

Sup, it’s the Andy-San here with moAr good news! There seems to be a lot of good news happening lately. I like it!

Just one day after posting my goal for 1,500 daily views, you guys knock it out of the park again with a whopping 1,733 views!! I wasn’t able to get a checking account today, but I will tomorrow!! Once that’s done, I’ll get a new domain, put up AdSense and a Donation button, and continue making excellent blogs about Smirnoff Green Apple and pooping (that one was for you, mercafat).

I checked out the whole domain thing with WordPress and it’s a pretty sw33t deal. When I make the move to the new domain, if you subscribe to me via RSS, you might have to update the URL. Other than that, everyone else should be redirected with no problems.

Well, I’m gonna get going. I’ve got some Mahoraba to watch. Please keep the views coming and tell all your friends about me. My next goal for this site is to have 2,000 daily views. Pretty easy, don’t you guys think? Later days!

Andy-San

P.S: I just realized that this is my 300th post. Kore! Wa! Sparta!!!1

We Did It!! 1,197 Views!!!1

Good evening everyone, it’s the Andy-San here with most excellent news!

We’ve finally reached my goal of 1,000 daily views and we didn’t stop there! We went all the way to 1,197 views!! My sincerest thanks to everyone who made this possible!!! My new goal is to break 1,500 daily views; a rather modest goal considering that it’s only 303 more views than my highest daily views.

Oh, but the good news doesn’t stop there! I’ve decided after an utterly boring day at work today to put my money where my mouth is and get around to getting AdSense as well as a new domain. I’m fed up with not only working at Wal-Mart, but working for someone else in general. Of course, I’m not gonna quit Wal-Mart just like that, but I’m definitely putting things in motion for another source of income. My goal is to generate enough income from my blog to not require a job and to be able to move out of my parents’ house. Judging from the amount of views I’m getting, this goal should become reality very soon. I’m going either tomorrow or Thursday to set up a checking account and it won’t take too much to put up AdSense and a tip jar/donations button. I also want to get my own domain through WordPress as well. From what I understand, this blog will still be accessible through the current URL, but it’ll also be accessible via my other domain. Of course since I’ll be using what I’ve saved up to get a checking account, getting a new computer will have to wait a bit (or will it?) More on all of this very soon!

In other news, my 2nd lesson with Rich went well. I’m still a bit nervous playing around him, but I’m better than what I was before. I’ve begun to incorporate some of the open chords into my playing as well. My main problem is that I need to get used to reading sheet music. I can figure it out, but I’m not as fast as I’d like to be.

Well, I’m gonna watch some moAr Mahoraba. Good night and keep those views coming!

Andy-San

Your New High Score: 982 Views!!!1

Hey everyone, it’s the Andy-San chillaxin’ after a long day at work.

I read my work schedule wrong this morning and ended up going in 4 hours later than scheduled! I apparently read the schedule for next week’s Sunday. My bad! Turns out that they needed someone to stay later anyway since someone called off so it all worked out.

I checked my views today and my highest amount of daily views is now 982!! That’s a mere 18 away from my goal of 1,000 daily views!!  Keep it up guys, we’re almost there!!!1

Now that I’ve put some st00f onto DVDs, I have room to get some new anime and suff. I have all of Sky Girls, Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun,  Clannad,  Minami-ke, and Mahoraba.  I’m working on getting or current with Kanokon, Minami-ke Okawari, Bleach,  and They Are My Noble Masters.  Of course, I haven’t watched everything yet, but there are 2 series that are quite good: Mahoraba and Kanokon. Mahoraba is finished and Kanokon is just beginning. I would like to thank AnimeMusicBoi for the excellent recommendation of Kanokon!

Well, I’m gonna watch some moAr Mahoraba. Oyasumi!

Andy-San

959 Views?! Wowzers!!!1

Sup, it’s the Andy-San here watching Paul Gilbert do his thang.

I guess my last post was pretty darn popular since it gave my site its highest daily views yet: 959 views! We’re sooo close to breaking my goal of 1,000 views in a single day! Keep it up guys!!

I forgot to post how much I put in for my new computer: a whopping $19. This brings my total amount saved to a cool $220. Yay. I’m not scured because I don’t have to pay my bills with my next check so I’ll have moAr to put in lol.

That’s about it really, so I’ll see you guys laterz. Bye!

Andy-San

Another Long Day For Me…Yay…And Contractual Love!!!1

Hey guys, it’s the Andy-San hurr listenin’ to Jeff Beck’s “Where Were You.” It’s an awesome song that you should be listening to right now.

My mom got into an accident today. Don’t worry, she’s ok. I took the day off just in case. The car got banged up pretty bad, but considering that she got hit by a semi that was going 40+ mph, I’m surprised the car’s still in one piece. It actually did more damage to the semi than the car if you can believe it!! The repairs are gonna be hella costly, but hopefully the insurance will cover it or at least most of it.

My bro went to prom today as well. It was with two chicks who were BFFs so he was pimpin’ lol. Actually, one of them was ok looking & really tall. The other one was her DUFF. BFF DUFF OMG WTF BBQ?!!!?!!1

I saw Jess Green of all people at the prom. I don’t think she saw me, but I don’t care. I kept looking to see if she would say hi or something because we were like ten feet away. Now, I told you that story to tell you this story. Back when I was working at Taco Bell, late at night, a husband and wife come in and order their food. I think nothing about it. When they were getting ready to leave, the wife asked me if I was Andy S. (I won’t give out my last name because I’m not retarded lol) and I said yes. She said that she was Jess’ mom and that Jess was getting married. I said that’s cool and said bye to them. That has got to be one of the most awkward conversations I’ve ever had evAr. She recognized me by face (and name-tag, but there’s a lot of Andys around here) and I’d never seen her in my life. Weirdness…

But anyway, I’m happy that Jess is getting married to someone she’s been with for years instead of being like most people around here and getting married after only knowing someone for a couple of months. This brings me to this question: what’s the point of getting married? Besides a ceremony and rings that’ll knock your wallet the fuck out and filing your taxes differently, I don’t see the point. If you love each other, then what else do you need? Now before any of you ladies pull out the tried-and-true c-word that makes men’s nuts shrivel, commitment, let me stop that little brainfart. Commitment is essentially synonymous with boring routine. Yeah, it means dedication, but do you really need a wedding ring to prove it? Marriage basically limits you to one woman and one woman only by a contractual agreement. I’m excluding gay marriages because I’m lazy and believe the same thing applies to them too so nothing against gay people at all. I think that marriage is a way to quell some insecurities in a relationship and in the event it goes sour, you’ll get something out of it financially. I seriously doubt that I’ll get married, but I want to be in a relationship with someone that I love that doesn’t need a contract to prove that I love her. Fuck that shit. In the ass. With a razor dildo.

Well, I’m gonna sign off since I’m gettin’ kinda sleepy. You kids be safe. Nighty-night!

Andy-San

Gettin’ Drunk ‘n Fuckin’ Bitches!

How’s it going, it’s the Andy-San here after one long-ass day.

To celebrate Eric’s 21st birthday, we went to Quaker Steak & Lube. I rode with the Shizzon and got lost because of Eric’s directions being out of order. When we got to the place, everyone ordered wings because it was Endless Wings Tuesday. Shizzon and I didn’t get the memo so we ordered Philly burgers with fries. The fries were great, but the burger was quite sub-par.  I was very disappointed. After I was about halfway through my burger, Shizzon noticed the big ass sign for the endless wings. We both were like, “son of a bitch!” Cody tried the Atomic Wings and said they tasted terrible and weren’t even that hot. Eric had a good time though. He had a shit-ton to drink there.

When we got back to UU, I got him some Sparks Plus as well as some Sparks for myself. I also had some Smirnoff Green Apple and it was dee-lish (wow, that didn’t sound gay at all lol). We ended up doing some hilarious drunken st00f and went to bed around 4am. I got up around 7am because Tylor’s phone wouldn’t stop going off. I then drove back home, stayed up for a bit, and went back to sleep before going to work. Whew!

In other news, my first lesson with Rich went well. It was a bit boring since we went over some beginner guitar stuff like open chords and reading notes. I played “Jane” by Jefferson Starship while he was getting my lesson book and before the end of the lesson, I played “Still Got The Blues” by Gary Moore. I’m looking forward to my next lesson!!

While I was working today, I came up with a new idea for a manga series. I wrote down a skeletal outline of the first episode and it’s not too shabby if I do say so myself. I also wrote down some of my short-term financial goals, which tie into this blog. I recently found out that WordPress offers hosting your own domain for $15 a month. I don’t know all the nitty-gritty details, but it’s definitely worth looking into.

Well, I’m gonna go. I get paid today so I’ll be able to put some money away for my new computer so yay. Oyasumi!

Andy-San
